Barry Powell was appointed to the Board in 2007 and serves as an Outside Director, Chair of the Audit Committee and is AgWest’s designated Financial Expert.

Barry holds a degree in Finance from Santa Clara University and later completed his MBA with a focus on Finance at Golden Gate University. He is a financial consultant within the agricultural sector and from August 2013 until December 2021, Barry was CEO for North Valley Ag Services, a fertilizer cooperative. Currently, he is an Outside Director on the Board for North Valley Ag Services. For over 25 years, from 1986 until 2011, Barry served as a CFO for two agricultural cooperatives in California.

Barry is a fifth generation California resident.
