Blake was elected to the Board in 2003 and previously served as Board Chair. He is President of Harlan Family Ranch in Woodland, California, which also does business as Harlan Feed. Additionally, he is a partner of Wilson Bend Farms in Colusa County, California. Blake farms processes tomatoes, alfalfa, rice, almonds, wheat, corn and sunflowers in Yolo and Colusa Counties in California.
Blake earned a Bachelor of Science in agriculture management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He currently serves as a director for the Yolo County Fair, 40th District Ag Association and as a commissioner of the Willow Oak Fire Department, where he previously served as a firefighter and emergency medical technician. Blake is a past president of the Yolo County Farm Bureau where he served as a director for 20 years. Blake also previously served on the Yolo County 4-H Leaders Council and was a leader of the Willow Oak 4-H Club.
