Greg Hirai was elected to the Board in 2014 and previously served as Board Chair. He and his family own and operate Hirai Farms in Gooding, Jerome, and Twin Falls Counties of Idaho growing potatoes, corn, alfalfa and forage grains.

Greg serves on the board of directors for the North Side Canal Company, and the board of directors of the American Falls Reservoir District. He also serves on the board of the Lower Snake River Aquifer Recharge District working with government and users of the aquifer to promote its recharge.

Greg holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a BA in liberal arts from The College of Idaho. He has also completed the Farm Credit Premier Governance Series.

Greg has three sons and farms together with his mother Kunie in the Magic Valley of Idaho.
