Tom Ikeda was elected to the Board in 2017. He is a director and corporate secretary of Ikeda Bros., a third-generation diversified farming operation of vegetables, citrus and avocados located on the Central Coast of California in Southern San Luis Obispo County. The operation grows a variety of lettuces and cabbages for the fresh market but specializes in Asian vegetables such as Chinese napa cabbage, Bok Choy and baby Bok Choy.

Tom serves as President of Fukuhara Farms, Inc., which leases land for vegetable production. He also serves on the boards of San Luis Obispo County Farm Bureau, and the Agricultural Liaison Advisory Board. Tom is a graduate of the California Agricultural Leadership Program and of TEPAP, The Executive Program for Ag Producers.

Tom likes to relax with golf, archery and fly fishing even though free time is too rare for him to get very proficient at any of them.
